    报告摘要:

    Thistalk presents results from our recent efforts for reviving the 2-field (fluidpressure and solid displacement) approach for numerically solvingporoelasticity problems on quadrilateral meshes. The Darcy equation is solvedfor fluid pressure by the weak Galerkin finite element methods, which establishthe discrete weak gradient and numerical velocity in the Arbogast-Correaspaces. The elasticity equation is solved for solid displacement by theenriched Lagrangian elements, which were motivated by the Bernardi-Raugelelements for Stokes flow. These two types of solvers are coupled through theimplicit Euler temporal discretization to solve poroelasticity. Numericalexperiments on two widely tested benchmarks will be presented to demonstratethe new solvers are locking-free. Wediscuss also extension to 3-dim and implementation in deal.II. This is based ona series of joint work with several collaborators.
